HTRT has a meeting with both SoS and HMCI on February 10th in London. This follows from our meeting at the DfE in August as reported here.
What are the key things we want to get across in the meeting? What should be our main focus – eg alternative models/future thinking or a critique of the current regime? We’d like to gain input from all attendees for this crucial meeting.
1.45 The HTRT Manifesto Framework: Tom Sherrington to Chair
The idea is to produce an “Education Manifesto” to provide a focus for our lobbying work as the next election approaches. This will be made up of our key policy ideas with significant input from our twitter followers, via the blogsite. The aim of this session is to agree the key policy headings and the mechanics of the process for sourcing policy proposals and writing the manifesto.
2.45 Round Up and Departure.
If you would like to attend the conference, please contact Kate Barnes who is John Tomsett’s PA at Huntington. Email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
We usually ask for a nominal charge for catering but otherwise the event is free.
